In short

Zameen's index put the average 5 marla plot in DHA Phase 1 Multan at PKR 22.39 lakh in August 2026, up about 10% from February 2026 and roughly flat on a year earlier. The same index showed 10 marla plots at PKR 52.7 lakh and 1 kanal plots at PKR 71.46 lakh in August 2026. DHA Multan offers residential plots from 5 marla to 2 kanal, plus villas and small commercial plots. Verify any plot or file directly with DHA Multan, not only with a dealer. For schemes outside DHA, check the Multan Development Authority (MDA) approved and illegal lists.

Searches for the DHA Multan 5 marla plot price have grown as more buyers in south Punjab look for a gated, planned address. This guide explains what DHA Multan is, which plot sizes it offers, what listing-portal averages show today, how those compare with the rest of Multan, and what you should verify before paying for a plot or a file.

What is DHA Multan?

DHA Multan is the Defence Housing Authority's scheme in Multan. Zameen's area review describes it as a gated community between Mattital Road and Bosan Road. DHA Multan's own website says the aim is a model community with a mix of housing for high, moderate and low income families. Its office is on Muhammad Ali Jinnah Avenue in Sector H.

The authority's site lists completed works such as developed sectors, main boulevards, the Rumanza golf course, a shopping arcade, mosques, parks, a DHA Villas community and a police Khidmat Markaz. It groups projects as developed, under-development and upcoming, so the state of development differs from one sector to another.

Plot sizes and blocks in DHA Multan

Zameen's Multan review lists residential plots of 5 marla, 10 marla, 1 kanal and 2 kanal, villas of 6 and 12 marla, and commercial plots of 4 and 8 marla.

DHA Multan's 2021 direct-sale offer, announced on its official Facebook page and reported by Zameen News, gives an idea of how sizes map to blocks:

Plot sizeBlocks in the 2021 offer
5 marlaT
8 marlaV
10 marlaB1, U
1 kanalA, B2, D, E, F, N, O, X, Y
4 marla commercialA, B1, G, H, I, K, M, Q, R, X

This reflects that one offer. Allocation in other blocks may differ, so confirm the block for any plot you are shown.

Zameen's conversion guide treats one marla as 225 square feet, so a 5 marla plot is about 1,125 sq ft, but the guide notes that exact dimensions vary from scheme to scheme. Ask for the plot's dimensions in feet.

DHA Multan 5 marla plot price today

Prices below are averages of asking prices on a listing portal (Zameen Index, DHA Phase 1 Multan), not completed sale prices.

Plot sizeAverage, Aug 2026Average, Aug 2025
5 marlaPKR 22.39 lakhPKR 22.56 lakh
10 marlaPKR 52.7 lakhPKR 47.25 lakh
1 kanalPKR 71.46 lakhPKR 70.61 lakh

For 5 marla, the index showed PKR 20.27 lakh in February 2026, so the average rose by about 10% over six months but was close to where it stood a year before.

For context, DHA Multan's 2021 offer priced a 5 marla plot at Rs 5,000,000 on a three-year plan with a 10% down payment and 12 quarterly instalments. That was a launch price paid over time, and current market averages for the block you are buying may be very different. Do not assume a launch price tells you what a plot will sell for today.

Prices are indicative as of October 2026.

How DHA Multan compares with plots for sale in Multan

Zameen's index put the average 5 marla plot across Multan at PKR 27.97 lakh in August 2026, against PKR 26.37 lakh a year earlier. That city-wide figure mixes many societies, from Citi Housing and Wapda Town to Fatima Jinnah Town and Buch Executive Villas, so it is not a like-for-like comparison with DHA.

What differs is less the price and more what you are buying into: a single developer with its own rules, transfer process and development schedule. Within DHA, a developed sector with possession and a sector still under development can carry very different prices and risks.

What to check before you buy in DHA Multan

  1. Plot or file? Ask whether you are buying a balloted plot with a confirmed number and sector, or a file that has not yet been balloted. A file carries more uncertainty about location and timing.
  2. Verify with DHA directly. Use DHA Multan's official channels, listed on dhamultan.org, to confirm the plot number, the registered owner and any outstanding dues before you pay a token.
  3. Development and possession. Check whether roads, electricity and water are complete in that sector, and whether possession is available.
  4. Instalments. If the seller is on a payment plan, get the paid and remaining instalments in writing from DHA, not from the seller.
  5. Transfer process. Complete the transfer through DHA's own office, with both parties present or represented by a valid power of attorney.
  6. Overseas buyers. Do not rely on screenshots of allotment letters. Verify every document with the authority.

MDA approved societies: outside DHA

For private schemes in Multan outside DHA, the Multan Development Authority publishes a list of approved private housing schemes and land sub-divisions, a list of illegal schemes, and a list of schemes under approval on its website. MDA's own projects include Fatima Jinnah Town (Phases I and II), Multan Model Town and Shah Rukn-e-Alam Colony. Check the latest MDA list before buying anywhere outside DHA.
