Quetta Property News & Guides

Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, has a compact property market built around long-settled central neighbourhoods and newer schemes on the city's edges. Localities such as Jinnah Town, Garden Town, Wapda Colony and Samungli Town appear regularly on listing portals, alongside housing schemes such as Shaalkot and Zarghoonabad. DHA Quetta, with its head office on the RCD Highway, is the city's main gated scheme, with developed Early Bird sectors and others still at the balloting stage.

Most demand comes from local families, government and private-sector employees, traders and overseas Pakistanis from the province. Renters usually prefer central areas with services already in place, while plot buyers compare established localities with the lower entry prices of newer schemes.

Ownership outside DHA is proved through the provincial revenue record. Quetta was among the first districts in the Board of Revenue's land record computerisation project, and a 2022 law created Markaz-e-Saholiyat centres to keep records digitally. Before buying, get a current copy of the record, check the mutation history, confirm every heir's share in inherited land, visit the plot, and complete the mutation rather than stopping at a sale agreement.
